Here, units are combined as parts
of a space-frame. The behaviour of the entire spaceframe is determined by its structural form and by the characteristics of each compression unit. Both are contingent on the surface form of the single unit. The defining characteristic of this form is given by its opposed triangular ends which directly relate to the nature of its combinations within the lattice.
